D Kai Wilson-Viola is a 30 something writer who has been writing for over a quarter of a century.  She cut her teeth on She-ra fan-fiction, before moving onto dragons and elves after reading the hobbit.  By the time she was 13 she was being published in school newsletters, and recieving high marks for her work.

At 15, just after discovering dialling into BB boards, she started writing again and created several novels under pen names, before ducking back into relative anonymity to have her children.  She picked up her writing again, trying to ignore the pen name work, and has gone from strength to strength.  Currently self publishing her work, as an experiment, she’s happy to talk writing alongside dealing with unruly characters, children and a muse that just won’t hush up at Greenroominmyhead.

Though not married to her finacee, she has taken on his name to ensure that there’s no confusing name changes mid series and writes sci-fi and thrillers under the name D Kai Wilson-Viola.  She writes other work under other names, but that’s a story for another time.

About to graduate from The Univeristy of Gloucester, Kai’s future is in copywriting, blogging and both fiction and non fiction, but she still finds the time to take photos, roleplay and volunteer where she can in the writing and mental health communities – she runs the Nanowrimo in Gloucester in November, and ScriptFrenzy in April.
