Glass Block
First time here? You might want to take a look at the Glass Block page first – launching on the 12th of November, which also happens to be my birthday!
The rush along the hall carried Elliot along, the worn hall catching his toes and causing him to stumble forward. The corner before the stairs ceased most of the headlong rush, and the wave broke slightly on the walls, but everyone was caught up in the fever – whispers that the officer in question was one of the rookies, one of the desk sergeants, one of the division’s liaisons. Elliot caught and tracked five names passing over his head before he deliberately began to try to slow himself down. The bottleneck stairs allowed him to slip to one side and look at the group rushing through, until Morri passed his elbow. Her dark hair covered her biometric port, but her eyes had the telltale glaze of someone jacked in.
“Tell me?” he said. Morri turned and looked at him, before bilinking, the sheen lifting slightly – her eyes shifting from unfocssed to focussed.
“It’s Jack,”
